CEME strikes gold

Not only has CEME Conference Centre retained its Aim Gold status for ‘Accredited In Meetings’ with the MIA, but Events Manager, Ranjith Kumar has been shortlisted in the Conference and Events People category at this year’s miaList awards.

The CEME Conference Centre continues to be the only venue in East London and Essex to achieve AIM Gold status. AIM is the industry recognised mark of distinction, with Gold showing a venue is at the peak of service excellence.

But it’s not just the venue which is celebrating, the announcement that Events Manager, Ranjith Kumar was nominated for an award at the MiaList Awards has also got the conference centre a buzz. The ‘miaList’ recognises and rewards those hardworking, enthusiastic, inspiring individuals that have such a positive effect on everything they do. AIM Gold for Woodland Grange

Woodland Grange conference centre in Leamington Spa has achieved AIM Gold in the stringent Accredited in Meetings (AIM) assessment – the nationwide 'kitemark' for accredited venues and service providers in the UK meetings, conference and events industry. This is the third time that the venue has achieved this mark of excellence which is awarded every three years to a select portfolio of venues throughout the UK.

Ian Chaplin, general manager of Woodland Grange said: ”We first gained this important accolade in 2008 so this is great credit to the team for their consistent attention to detail and customer care excellence over the years.  On-going investment in our facilities and in our people keeps standards high and we are constantly looking at new ways to improve the experience for our delegates.

Named ‘Business of the Year’ in this year’s Touch FM Pride of Warwick District Awards, Woodland Grange has recently completed a £120K refurbishment project and has recorded its best trading month to date in October, with revenue up 13% over the same month last year.

A golden hat-trick for EEF Venues

Broadway House, EEF Venues’ conference venue at the heart of Westminster, has achieved Gold in the stringent Accredited in Meetings (AIM) assessment – the nationwide 'kite mark' for accredited venues and service providers in the UK meetings, conference and events industry.

All three EEF Venues now have AIM Gold status: Broadway House, Engineers’ House in Bristol and Woodland Grange in Warwickshire. 

Broadway House, which features twelve distinctive meeting rooms, with a maximum room capacity for up to 120 delegates, is the final venue in the group to join AIM’s elite group of 17 UK venues to have been awarded gold status to date.

CEME Conference Centre achieves GOLD Standard

CEME Conference Centre has just been awarded the highly prestigious ‘Accredited in Meetings’ (AIM) Gold Standard by the Meetings Industry Association.  Located in East London, CEME is one of only 15 venues across the United Kingdom that has achieved the highest grade, and is the first in East London and Essex.
