National Meetings Week (NMW) is an annual awareness week which aims to raise the profile of the UK meetings and events industry to the wider business market across the UK. Every year NMW focuses on the £22 billion-a-year contribution which meetings and events make to the UK economy, the 1.78 million jobs supported, the importance of delegate care, and the positive benefits which effective meetings bring to business communications and motivation. For 2010 NMW will be taking place 18-22 October.
One of the key mouthpieces for the UK meetings industry is National Meetings Week, a VisitBritain led campaign and one that has steadily grown into one of the clearest examples of the UK meetings industry promoting itself.
