The New Year brings more awards for The Møller Centre

The Møller Centre, the only dedicated residential management training and conference centre in Cambridge has started the New Year by being awarded two awards, and there could be more…

It’s Gold for the BDRC VenueVerdict Awards
Just announced, The Møller Centre has maintained its Gold Standard in the BDRC VenueVerdict awards for 2010, voted by its clients who have held events at the Centre over the last year.

“This result highlights our commitment to serving our clients with the best possible service we can” says Mark Carberry, Sales & Marketing Manager at The Møller Centre. “The customer is at the centre of all that we do, producing the best solutions we can proactively and with flexibility”.

The Møller Centre is “One to Watch”!
The Møller Centre has been awarded the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies “One to Watch” status for 2011. The Best Companies award focuses on workplace performance and best practice and evaluates the overall effectiveness of workplace engagement. Status and ratings are given to those companies that enter the process and evaluate the way the company is currently being operated, which is then examined by Best Companies who score the outcomes accordingly. The Møller Centre’s score rose significantly from last year and its “One to Watch” accreditation makes it one of the country’s best employers to work for.

“We are a busy Centre, and always value our people that work together to ensure our client events are a success” says Stuart Websdale, General Manager at The Møller Centre. “We invest into our staff to ensure we accurately recruit and retain the right people to offer greater service to our clients. Without our staff, we couldn’t continue to achieve what we do. This award is very special to the Centre as it provides us with valuable staff feedback and therefore this award is for our people that make the Centre what it is.”

Also... will it be Gold at the IITT awards?
Last March The Møller Centre achieved IT accreditation by the Institute of IT Training (IITT), the world’s first IT professional body for IT training professionals.

The Møller Centre then went on to win Silver in the 2010 IT Training awards for Training Venue of the Year. The Møller Centre entered this award again for 2011, and has now been shortlisted for its continual investment into IT training facilities at the Centre. Over recent months, significant investment has been made into IT facilities for clients including: a new dedicated fibre optic 30Mb internet line, web conferencing equipment, new business services equipment and a new public PC area of 13 computers in the Study Centre. The result for this award should be announced in the next few weeks.
