One of the consortium’s newest members, Maple House in Birmingham, took the ‘No 1 Conference Centre’ title, while in total its members represented more than a quarter of only 19 venues which qualified for BDRC’s (Business Development Research Consultants) exclusive ‘VenueVerdict Gold Standard’.
The highly prized awards are the result of the continuous monitoring of customer service achievement by BDRC, the leading full service market research agency. Working primarily for service organisations, the company specialises in hospitality, finance, travel and travel tourism and leisure. The awards embrace some 200 different hotels and meeting venues, for which BDRC independently assesses customer feedback.
The BDRC ‘VenueVerdict Gold Standard’ is only given to venues which deliver the very highest levels of customer satisfaction over a period of time. The successful CCE venues, in addition to Maple House, were:
The Royal College of Physicians, Regent’s Park, London
The Cotswold Conference Centre, Broadway
Lane End Conference Centre, High Wycombe
The Moller Centre, Cambridge
“This year’s BDRC awards are an outstanding result for our group, bearing in mind the spread and quality of the different venues that are included in the study,” commented Anthony Lishman, Executive Director of Conference Centres of Excellence.
